Volkswagen Group Australia and DDB Sydney launched a retail campaign, Volksfest Mate Rates, to highlight the car brand’s annual Spring sale.
The unexpected campaign saw Volkswagen leverage another Spring milestone – the Koala mating season as well as putting the spotlight on a range of driveaway deals. To mark the occasions, Volksfest in 2014 was all about mate rates and will continue until two of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s cuddly koalas, Trevor and Irene, make a family or November 30 arrives – whichever comes first.
